Membership Experience
The member experience in SACA facilitates meaningful involvement, community engagement, and leadership development. SACA strives to welcome all students to our organization. SACA's mission is to create beneficial relationships and endless leadership opportunities. The membership experience provides monthly socials, themed member meetings, SACA traditions, volunteer opportunities, member of the month recognitions, and more!
SACA Weekly Member Meetings
SACA hosts weekly member meetings every Thursday from 5:30pm-6:30pm at the LBJSC. In these meetings, our members engage with one another and build connections. The executive board updates the members on any upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. The second half of the meeting is dedicated to committees.
Committees
Membership: Primarily focuses on being responsible for establishing an outgoing respectful, diverse, safe, and fun environment in SACA. We partake in creating new SACA traditions, selecting themes for our meetings, and planning socials!
Events: Primarily focuses on the logistics that goes into planning events; everything from pitching an idea to executing the event, whether it virtual or in person.
Marketing: Takes lead in our marketing and outreach goals. Helping with the run of social media and marketing of events, members help promote our SACA brand to campus.
